If there's anything I really dislike, it's having bare unpainted nails! They have to be preened with a base coat, slick of polish and glossy top coat (and maybe a glitter overlay if I'm feeling particularly fancy *insert sassy emoji*). I find this combination strengthens my nails and allows the polish to last a lot longer than if applied without a base and strengthening top coat.

Reading through and following the instruction guide was surprisingly super easy ;
- Apply the Nail Cleanser to your natural nail plate using a lint-free wipe to rid of any natural oils/residue. You want your nails to be completely oil and shine free for a perfect gel application.
- Apply the Gel Primer to each nail, paying particular attention to your free edge.
- Apply the Gel Primer to each nail, paying particular attention to your free edge.
- Add a thin coat of the Sensationail Base/Top Coat. Ensure you haven't applied this thickly as your nails could feel a heat sensation when placed under the LED Lamp.
- Cure for 15 Seconds in the LED Lamp.
- Repeat above with your Sensationail Gel Colour Polish, again in a thin one stroke coating.
- Cure for 30 Seconds.
- Apply a thin coat of the Sensationail Base/Top Coat to seal in the colour and add a high gloss shine to your nails.
- Cure for 15 Seconds.
- Taking another lint-free wipe, add a small amount of the Nail Cleanser and wipe away the sticky inhibation top layer.
- Voila! A luxe high-gloss shine Mani which is guaranteed to last for 2 weeks wear
I found that the Gel Manicure lasted the full 2 weeks as promised without any signs of wear or chipping, and even afterwards there was only the tiniest bit of lifting along the cuticle area, win! I'm really pleased with the overall concept of this Gel Nail DIY Kit, and it's definitely my go-to product from now on. The vast array of shades which Sensationail offer are incredible (96 shades to be exact) - so if you're a pastel pink, coral red or midnight blue kinda gal when it comes to manicures, you're spoiled for choice!
